Principe di Bologna
The shoe factory Principe di Bologna was founded in 1961 by Ulderico and Quinto Pistonesi and since the 80s has been managed by the second generation with Rocco, Eusebio and Donatello Pistonesi. Driven by the inspiring world of footwear, Rocco, the only designer of the brand, in 1991 launched his first personal collection signed Rocco P.
The company applies traditional and unconventional shoe manufacturing techniques now being lost and forgotten by others. Reverso is one of the improbable and unfamiliar production methods. 200 pairs of shoes 1s the maximum daily output to guarantee the highest quality. Every shoe is provocatively signed “Handmade in Torre San Patrizio” to highlight the authenticity and genuinity of the product. Not only was it chosen to distinguish the brand from the “often” fake Made In ltaly goods, but also to accentuate the identity of the locai product, designed and handmade in the same workshop of Torre San Patrizio. This is the reason why the shoes have been equipped with an ldentity Chip, which turns them in real examples of an exceptional fusion between tradition and innovation.
The ltalian brand Rocco P. is therefore an expression of creative freedom which is not guided by any rules.
