Chérie is a tradition started 60 years ago in the heart of Le Marche region in Italy, famous throughout the world for its leather craftsmanship and artisan made footwear, two artisan brothers Angelo & Delio Giustozzi started a tradition called Chérie, combining unique Italian style, exquisite craftsmanship, meticulous attention to detail, best quality leather and science to make stylish and comfortable handmade shoes for your little ones which adapt perfectly to the shape of their feet like second skin and give them the feeling of walking around barefoot.

Their love and passion for good quality leather shoes was recognized and rewarded by many connoisseurs of luxury world over, including the coveted Linea D’oro in Paris. Well renowned luxury brands like Armani, Baldinini and Balley appointed them to produce their kids’ footwear line.

More recently while most footwear companies in the region have compromised on quality and outsourced production to low cost countries, the second generation of the Giustozzi brothers continues to manufacture Chérie in Italy, keeping the quality and tradition intact. Years of research and study have resulted in good fitting shoes and a collection of exciting styles ranging from classic to casual! This has enabled us to bag new manufacturing contracts for Phillip Plein, Santoni and other contemporary luxury brands. Even today our artisans continue to make each and every pair of shoe with equal love and passion for your loved ones.

Our Process

We place emphasis on traditional Italian shoe making techniques. We believe such techniques are irreplaceable in maintaining the structure and function of a high quality product at the same time our research and development team focuses on applying new technology to improve upon traditional shoe making methods.

Allowing shoes time to breathe and rest between manufacturing stages is a critical factor in shoe quality. Handmade shoemakers like Chérie let the shoes naturally rest, mould and breathe between stages which make a huge difference to fit, durability and look.
